Evanescence’s Amy Lee has some new solo singles on the way, and a new band project in the works.

Evanescence debuted a new song, “Take Cover,” during its North American shows last fall, along with a six-LP box set called Origin. It has not, however, released a full album of new material since a self-titled effort in 2011. But Lee hopes to change that soon and tells us that

“We do have plans for something coming up in the near future, but I’m not talking about it yet. It’s not a traditional album…So there’s a couple things happening…We have a vision but we don’t have all the songs. We’re gonna have to get to work and actually make an album. So the wheels are turning but we’re not, like, on a set schedule yet and path yet to when that’s gonna happen.”

Lee released a new single, “Love Exists,” last Friday (February 10), and has another new song “Speak To Me,” featured on the soundtrack for Voice From The Stone, which comes out April 28.
